Description
Fire-Fighting Tank Truck ATs-SOR 2.0-20-10 (43118) is designed to transport personnel to the place of call, fire fighting activities and rescue operations in settlements, industrial facilities, critical facilities, including multi-storey buildings and structures with fire extinguishing agents and fire fighting equipment on it, to supply fire extinguishing agents from other sources to the place of fire, as well as to ensure the performance of its pump-hose systems and pump-hose systems of other vehicles when fighting large (prolonged) fires at extremely low temperatures.
- Delivery of crews, firefighting equipment, and a supply of extinguishing agents (water, foam concentrate) to the scene of a fire.
- Fire suppression and rescue operations in populated areas, at industrial facilities, at critical facilities, including in high-rise buildings and structures, using the extinguishing agents and fire equipment carried on the vehicle.
- Direct application of extinguishing agents into the seat of the fire via supply and attack hose lines.
- Ensuring the operability of its own pump-and-hose systems during suppression of large (prolonged) fires under extremely low-temperature conditions.
- Ensuring the operability of the pump-and-hose systems of other vehicles during suppression of large (prolonged) fires under extremely low-temperature conditions by supplying heated water through hose inserts into supply lines or into the vehicles’ tanks.
- Delivery of a set of emergency rescue tools to the scene of an emergency.
- Heating personnel in the crew cab, as well as heating personnel and drying turnout gear in a rapid-deploy tent (designed for operation in extremely low temperatures) using electric forced-air heaters.
- Illuminating the work site during hours of darkness.
